We partner with Mind

We’re honoured to support Mind, the UK’s leading mental health charity, to help bring people together over a cup of tea. One in four people in the UK suffer from a mental health problem, with depression and loneliness on the rise. Our partnership aims to raise awareness around the benefits of sharing a cuppa with friends or family to talk about whatever’s on your mind.

Self care on world mental health day

Mental health problems can affect anyone, at any time, but 10th October is a great day to show your support for better mental health and start looking after your own wellbeing. Tea is synonymous with collecting your thoughts and feelings, self reflection and unwinding. Take time for yourself and check out more practical self care tips from Mind.

Tea Time & Chat

At FesTeaVal 2019 we were delighted to have Mind join us for their Tea time and Chat experience. It was so popular that we ran out of the ‘Conversation Starters’ on the first day! It’s a great practical tool for opening up a conversation around mental health. We particularly love no.7. So pop the kettle on and have a good old chinwag with a friend.

Pop the Kettle on for crafternoon

Crafternoon takes place twice a year, at Christmas and in the summer. Invite your friends, family or colleagues round for afternoon tea, and get crafting and fundraising for Mind! The next Crafternoon is 30 November.
